Stupid Invaders is an adventure that follows Etno and his four friends. They are trapped with him in a laboratory after crash-landing on Earth. Dr. Sakarine, an evil scientist has sent a hit man to capture the aliens for his experiments. This game is filled with 'nutty state of art toilet humor', mostly taken from by Jim Gomez, writer for the Ren and Stimpy show. There are over 120 locations and 50 characters to meet! The story is broken down into three chapters, each with unique settings and environments. The Story and characters It's all very simple. Returning home from a space picnic five vividly coloured and wildly shaped aliens, Etno, Stereo, Gorgious, Bud and Candy, meet with a space accident and make a forced landing on Earth. They settle into a deserted old house whilst making repairs to their spaceship. All this takes some years and all goes well until the spaceship is finally fixed. Then, just as they are about to take flight again, their hiding place is sprung by Dr Sakarin. Only two feet high, Dr Sakarin definitely isn't cuddly. His specialty is collecting assorted 'little green men', dissecting them, and bottling them in vats of formalin. The humour and graphics There are lots of toilets in this game, oodles of them. The characters can sit on one, use it conventionally (accompanied by appropriate sound effects); and even travel on one, or dive into one. If you haven't already guessed, there's a generous serving of toilet humour (encompassing the whole spectrum of unmentionable bodily functions and personal habits) accompanied by a good dollop of double meanings/sexual innuendo. Gameplay is straightforward Stupid Invaders is point-and-click at its finest. You must use the keyboard to access inventory (space bar), load, save, and quit. All movement and object and character interaction is via the mouse. The cursor action automatically changes according to the situation, although once or twice during the game you must change it yourself using a right click. Puzzles are all organic, every last mother-lovin' one of them, and they range from easy to fairly challenging. The game is completely linear; you must perform certain actions in a certain order to progress. There are lots of unnecessary things you can see and do in the game, and half of the game's entertainment value is found by looking at these things and trying them.
